My academic projects have covered a variety of topics, and yet they all share a concern for understanding transformations in everyday life in the context of global mobilities and bridging the insights and discussions of multiple communities and disciplines. While I trained as a sociologist, my research brings together an interest in social theory (particularly theories of social practice) and everyday life with geography, mobilities, tourism studies, leisure, migration, and the contemporary arts.
